Belief and Suffering is a rock band based in Bristol, England. Our influences include genres such as Post-Punk, Dream Pop, and Ethereal Wave; but we also take small influence from genres such as Neoclassical Darkwave, Depressive Suicidal Black Metal, and Midwest Emo.

Our music draws upon themes of Christian faith, mental health struggles, love, loneliness, gender identity, dissociation, and death. Collaborators include main producer, songwriter, guitarist, and vocalist Mylo Hodges (any pronouns), and additional vocalist and songwriter Lilith Raven-Dodd (she / her).

Upcoming...

Dreams is set to be our debut single, intended for release in 2025. It explores themes of dissociation, gender identity, guilt, and moving on. After this, we intend to release our first EP or album. Potential titles include 'hope of getting better' and 'oubliette'. Our first studio album will be self titled.
